Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize WordPress websites according to project requirements
Customize themes and plugins without relying solely on page builders
Integrate third-party plugins and APIs as needed
Ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading, and SEO-friendly
Troubleshoot website issues and provide timely fixes
Maintain and update existing WordPress websites
Follow WordPress security best practices
Collaborate with designers and content teams to implement layouts accurately
Perform website backups, updates, and performance optimizations
Test websites across browsers and devices before deployment
Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
Experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
Understanding of custom post types, hooks, and WordPress architecture
Experience with theme customization and child themes
Basic understanding of on-page SEO and website performance optimization
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with WooCommerce
Familiarity with website security and caching plugins
Experience with page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg
Knowledge of Git or version control systems
